Sprint deposit terms
These terms explain what the 10% deposit does, when it is refundable, and when delivery capacity becomes reserved.
1. What the deposit reserves
The deposit is 10% of the active project price shown at Checkout and is credited in full toward that project. It reserves that displayed price and unlocks a private fit and start-window call. It does not, by itself, guarantee project fit or a specific start date.
2. Fit and start windows
After verified payment, the parties review scope, readiness, and capacity. When the sprint is a fit, at least two start options will be offered within 60 days. Work begins only after a written statement of work, acceptance criterion, and start date are accepted.
3. Refund boundary
The deposit is refunded if Omid declines the engagement, cannot offer two start dates within 60 days, or the buyer cancels before accepting a written statement of work and date. Once both are accepted, the deposit becomes non-refundable because delivery capacity is reserved. If Omid later cancels, the deposit is refunded.
4. Remaining balance
After statement-of-work and date acceptance, an additional 40% is due before work begins, bringing total paid to 50%. The final 50% is due at production handoff. Any applicable taxes are disclosed before the statement of work and are not silently added to the deposit.
5. Sprint readiness and scope
The 10 active working days begin when the written scope, repository and staging access, dependencies, credentials, and a decision-maker are ready. Buyer-caused blockers pause the clock and may move the release date. Scope changes require a new written acceptance criterion and may require a separate engagement.
6. Handoff and warranty
The buyer owns the delivered project code. The sprint includes a production handoff and 14-day warranty for defects against the agreed acceptance criterion. New behavior, changed scope, and third-party changes are excluded.
Questions about a payment or refund can be submitted through the contact form before accepting a project date.
